The Victorian public sector’s annual employee opinion survey, People Matter opens in just under three weeks. We want to hear from you and your colleagues about making Monash Health a great place to work and help us shape the future workplace and inform our decisions.
In the 2019 People Matter survey, you told us that Psychological Wellbeing and Safety was an important area for you. We responded by expanding and enhancing our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provided by Converge International.
The EAP provides free and confidential support to our employees, their immediate family, and volunteers.
The support covers a range of work and non-work related issues, including Employee, Career, Nutrition and Lifestyle, Manager, Money, Legal, Family and Conflict Assist, which you have access to four sessions per issue (except Legal Assist, available for two hours per year).
The service is available to proactively manage your health and wellbeing, assisting you to work through work issues, develop coping strategies, and also provide support in those difficult and crucial times.
In addition, there are now also five specialised helplines available for one hour each per year including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, LBGTIQ, Disability and Carers, Domestic and Family Violence and Eldercare. These helplines are there to assist you in those critical times when you need immediate assistance.
Our EAP service also includes an EAP Connect App, enabling support and information to be available at your fingertips, and access to a health and wellbeing portal that includes webinars, posters, articles, and over 120 tip sheets.
Call 1300 687 327 or visit the EAP Portal. The login for the EAP Portal is monashhealth using both the username and password.
