Three patient care alerts have been introduced as part of Monash Health’s approach to identifying patients who have or have not been vaccinated against COVID-19.
These alerts are:
- COVID-19 UNVACCINATED
- COVID-19 Single Vaccination
- COVID-19 Double Vaccination
Through these alerts, the patient’s COVID-19 vaccination status will be displayed on the Banner Bar, and the information will appear face-up on the patient’s chart.
A patient’s vaccination status will also be displayed in the COVID-19 dashboard for each patient and on the COVID-19 inpatient list.
Users will be able to add this alert manually. Please note the EMR Workflow rule ensures only one alert is active at any time.
