The Gathering of Kindness allows us to reflect on the role kindness plays at work, for our patients and families, our colleagues and ourselves. While the COVID-19 pandemic has brought its challenges, the Gathering of Kindness is a great opportunity to shine a light on the many moments of kindness we’ve seen in the past 18 months and remind ourselves of the importance of spreading kindness.
We are pleased to announce free access to the program to all Monash Health employees, consumer advisors and volunteers. Launching on Monday 8 November, the sessions will cover topics such as self-care, opportunities for change and demonstrating kindness in healthcare. Guest speakers include clinicians from Victoria and across the world, including Monash Health’s Dr Kieran Allen, Psychiatry Registrar.
You can find more information on the program and can access the events from the Monash Health Gathering of Kindness intranet site.

You are invited to join us for an all-employee Schwartz Round on Thursday 11 November at 2pm, hosted by Monash Doctors’ Dr Ari Horton.
Schwartz Rounds are forums where both clinical and non-clinical employees can discuss the emotional and social aspects of healthcare. They aim to facilitate a greater understanding of the challenges and rewards of providing care to our patients.
