Tune in to celebrate our long‐serving colleagues

Did you know that one Monash Health employee started with us in 1966 on the day Australia introduced decimal currency?

Another entered nursing after working from the age of 12 in the kitchen of a bush hospital, while a third has been using her skills in five languages to communicate with patients for 45 years.

They are just three of the extraordinary 1,537 Monash Health employees and volunteers who will be honoured at online events at the annual Length of Service Awards.

Every person at Monash Health plays a crucial role in providing health care to our diverse community, whether it’s delivering babies, performing surgery, taking appointments, serving food, or maintaining our facilities – and so much more.

The awards provide the opportunity to acknowledge their contribution, while hearing some of the fascinating stories they’ve collected along the way.

All employees, their families and friends are welcome to join the online events.

Employees and volunteers with 20‐ and 25‐years’ service will be acknowledged on Tuesday 23 November, while those with 30‐years’ service and above will be celebrated on Wednesday 24 November.

Further information including the list of recipients and how you can join the live events can be found here.
