Priority COVID-19 testing available for asymptomatic employees on-site

Monash Health employees who have been identified as a close contact, are asymptomatic and are required to get a PCR test can now do so at our site-based Pathology Collection Centres at Clayton, Casey, Dandenong and Moorabbin.

To help protect the wellbeing of our employees and patients, Monash Health employees will receive priority testing at these locations.

Who is eligible?

Monash Health employees who are asymptomatic, have been notified that they are a close contact of a confirmed case of COVID-19 and require a PCR test.

Please note: Household/family members of Monash Health employees are not eligible for priority COVID-19 testing at our site-based, pathology collection centres.

What do I need to do?

Call the Employee COVID-19 Hotline

If you are informed that you are a close contact, please call the Monash Health Employee COVID-19 Hotline on 8572 5610, 7am to 8pm, seven days a week. Our hotline employees will be able to provide advice, but importantly will ensure you can attend these site-based testing centres even though you will fail your attestation (because you will be a close contact).

Walk-in, no booking required

No booking is required, you can walk in and get tested at the locations and times listed below.

We ask that you have your employee ID and medicare card with you and that you pre-register your details using the Victorian Department of Health’s Testing Registration Form, which will speed up the information collection process when you get tested.

PPE Guidance

As per our current PPE guidelines an N95 mask needs to be worn in these areas.

What are the turn-around times for test results?

The expected turnaround time for employees test result from our site-based Pathology collection centres is currently less than 24 hours.

Where are the on-site, priority testing locations?

As long as you are asymptomatic, you can attend one of our site-based Pathology collection centres in the following locations.

Casey

Dandenong

Moorabbin
