Patient Experience Concierge Service now available at Clayton and Dandenong

This week, the Patient Experience team established a new Patient Experience Concierge Service at Monash Medical Centre and Dandenong Hospital.

This new service will allow family members, friends or external delivery providers to drop off or pick up items for our patients. This may include personal belongings, food items or entertainment, for example clothes, phone chargers, meals or newspapers.

Once the items are received by the concierge team, they will be delivered to the patient or returned to visitors in a timely manner and with care. This new service will ensure our front-of-house teams and clinical teams caring for inpatients can prioritise their essential roles.

With tightened visitor restrictions, the new concierge service will ensure our patients have fast and easy access to the items they need and want.

For visitors looking to use the new concierge service, they can drive up to the main entrance of Clayton or Dandenong and park their car in the drop off/pick up area. The concierge desk is located outside the front visitor entrance at both Clayton and Dandenong sites, which means there is no need to enter the hospital or undertake the screening procedure.

The concierge service will be available Monday to Friday, from 10am to 6pm.

Employees are encouraged to inform their patients of this service.
