Changes to visitation
We are making changes to our visitation guidance in line with Department of Health guidance. These changes are effective 11.59pm Saturday 19 March 2022.
Updated conditions of entry for unvaccinated hospital visitors
- Unvaccinated visitors 18 years and over must provide evidence of a negative rapid antigen test (RAT) on the day of visitation and wear an N95 mask for the duration of their visit.
- Unvaccinated visitors under 18 years must provide evidence of a negative rapid antigen test (RAT) on the day of visitation and wear a surgical mask for the duration of their visit.
Change to overseas travel exclusion timelines
- Visitors may not enter a hospital if they have returned from overseas within the last 14 days (change from seven days).
Addition of a support person for obstetric sonography appointments
- One support person can now be present at any time.
