The Disability Consumer Advisory Group are seeking consumers to bring the voice of people with a disability to Monash Health

The Disability Consumer Advisory Group are seeking consumers who have lived experience of Monash Health Services as a patient with a disability or are a parent or carer of a patient with a disability.

The Disability Consumer Advisory Group comprises of members who can represent the views of people with a disability. The primary role of this committee is to bring the voices of people with a disability, into Monash Health planning and service delivery.

The Equity and Inclusion team are encouraging Monash Health employees to share the below flyer with patients in their care with a disability so they can share their experiences and provide advice on services at Monash Health.

The Consumer Advisor role would involve:

  • Providing constructive feedback in a formal setting
  • Considering broader issues than the consumer’s
  • Having an interest in quality improvement
