From 6am, Tuesday 26 April, the next stage of multideck carpark works at Dandenong Hospital will commence and is scheduled to take approximately three weeks. This work is being completed to reduce the risk of potential slips or trips for our employees.
As with other recent stages of work, alternative parking will available at Chisholm TAFE and in the on-grade carpark.
- The impacted areas will be the level 1 ramp and level 1. Half of the driveway will be blocked off for the resurfacing while the other half will remain open to allow access to level 2.
- The top level will also remain closed until 6pm, Tuesday 26 April to allow for the completion of the resurfacing following delays caused by recent rain.
Morning staff should continue to park at Chisholm TAFE carpark, via the entry on Stud Road. Once the TAFE car park is full, the multideck carpark will be opened to staff.
For safety and security reasons, the on-grade car park will be closed until 11:30am to ensure sufficient parking is available for the afternoon staff.
To ensure that adequate parking is available for our Dandenong employees, during this time we request that staff from other campuses do not work at Dandenong Hospital unless it is absolutely necessary.
