Special NAIDOC Week screening of ‘Take Heart: Deadly Heart’ documentary

As part of NAIDOC Week, join us on Thursday 7 July for a special screening of the documentary Take Heart: Deadly Heart.

The documentary follows the fight to end Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD). We are losing two young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to RHD every week, and these deaths are preventable.

Dr Ari Horton, a Monash Health Paediatric Cardiologist who features in the film, will be at our screening of Take Heart: Deadly Heart to discuss and provide some insight into the campaign to end RHD.

Location: Lecture Theatre 1, Monash Medical Centre
Time: 6pm – 8pm 7 July

The screening is open to all Monash Health employees and tickets are free. Please note: it is a condition of entry that all attendees wear a mask.

Seating is limited so be sure to book via the following link: www.eventbrite.com.au/e/take-heart-deadly-heart-documentary-screening-tickets-371897384087
