Monash Health will be offering the Moderna Bivalent as well as Pfizer from Monday 10 October 2022.
Vaccination Requirements
The new Moderna Bivalent vaccine will be available line with ATAGI guidance, Pfizer will also be available on request.
- Employees in the following categories are recommended to receive a fourth dose:
- Aged 50 years and older (updated)
- Residents of aged care or disability care facilities
- Severely immunocompromised(fifth dose)
- Aged 16 years or older with a medical conditionthat increases the risk of severe COVID-19 illness
- Aged 16 years or older with disability, significant or complex health needs, or multiple comorbidities which increase the risk of a poor outcome.
- Employees aged 30-49 are eligible for a fourth dose (updated)
- The interval recommended between a third dose, or a recent SARS-CoV-2 infection and a fourth dose is now three months (updated)
- Pregnant women aged between 30 to 50 years old have the option to receive a fourth dose following a discussion with their GP (or pregnancy specialist), to see if it is right for their individual health needs.

No bookings are required for the pop-up clinics, simply walk-in. Please note that queue lengths may mean you have to return later – we appreciate your patience.
