Throughout December, Monash Health Foundation and our Mental Health Program team worked together to provide Christmas gifts for families in need.
The initiative was led by Families where a Parent has a Mental Illness (FaPMI), a program that facilitates positive mental health and wellbeing outcomes for consumers who are parents, their children and their families.
FaPMI coordinators Alice Barrow, Magdeline Avramidis, and Lisa Tesoriero, distributed 190 gifts for children across 22 of our mental health teams.

Paula Hakesley from the Monash Health Mental Health Program would like to thank the Monash Health Foundation for their support in this initiative.
“Our Clinicians were very grateful for this opportunity and our consumers appreciated the gifts for their children,” she said.
