Research, innovation, and expert insights from Monash Health made the headlines this week following the successful results from a global trial co-led by Professor Stephen Nicholls, Director of Victorian Heart Hospital.
The trial, in which 14,000 people participated across 32 countries, determined that a new drug, bempedoic acid, can lower cholesterol levels without side effects.
