Medical Laboratory Professionals Week is an opportunity to acknowledge and recognise our pathologists, medical scientists, technicians and laboratory employees in pathology who play a vital role in health care.
Pathology is essential and integral to health care, from disease diagnosis to patient treatment and monitoring.
The theme for Lab Week 2023 is ‘The Future is Lab’, highlighting and celebrating how our laboratory workforce continues to adapt to provide patient care in challenging and evolving environments.
In this current age of precision medicine, expansion in diagnostic testing and emerging public health challenges, the Monash Health Pathology workforce skillfully adapt to these challenges with resilience, innovation, and expertise.
