Don’t give crime a free ride: Victoria Police handing out anti-theft number plate screws at Monash Medical Centre on Wednesday

Victoria Police is partnering with Monash Health to provide this simple solution that could save you a lot of hassle.

  • When: Wednesday 10 May, 10am – 12pm
  • Where: The Meeting Point, Level 2 at the orange lifts, Monash Medical Centre
  • Bring: Gold coin donation

Following a recent spate of theft in the area, Victoria Police will be on site on Wednesday 10 May offering anti-theft number plate screws to Monash Health employees.

Anti-theft number plate screws make it harder for offenders to steal your plates and use them to commit serious crimes.

It’s not just about the inconvenience and cost of replacing your plates if they are stolen – offenders use stolen plates to avoid identification when carrying out offences such as petrol theft, drug trafficking, and burglary. With these one-way, anti-theft screws, you can put up a strong line of defence against any would-be thieves.

And the best part? These screws can be fitted with a standard flat-bladed screwdriver, you don’t need any special tools or expertise to secure your plates. It’s a simple and effective way to keep your property and yourself safe.

Victoria Police is handing out anti-theft screws at Monash Medical Centre on Wednesday, asking for a gold coin donation.

Don’t give crime a free ride – fit anti-theft screws to your number plates to protect yourself and your community.
