Employee work visa status audit

We are in the process of conducting a routine audit of our employees’ work visa status.

The audit process will help us ensure:

  • Up-to-date and accurate records for our transition to our new HR system (SAPPHire) next year
  • Ongoing management of visa expiries and work conditions

To assist with collecting, collating and reviewing documents, Monash Health has engaged the Immigration Firm, Fragomen who will:

  • Review documents
  • Check visa status in Australia through the Department of Home Affairs service called Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO)
  • Manage the work verification check through their secure online process via their Employment Verification Tool (EVT)

Employees currently holding a work visa will be contacted directly with information, guidance and next steps, including:

  1. An email from Monash Health providing information about, and guidance around what’s required as part of the review process.
  2. An email from our Immigration Partner, Fragomen requesting participation in and confirmation of work visa status via Fragomen’s secure online
