A very happy fifth birthday to Ward 4B Aviary at Monash Children’s Hospital, which celebrated in style on 3 July.
The 80s Disco theme won the popular vote this year and the team and patients enjoyed a day of dressing up in their flashiest outfits.
Monash Children’s Hospital’s General Manager, Dani Smith, says the 80s theme was a great way to spread colour across the ward and put smiles on faces of patients and team members.
“Over the past five years, Aviary has continued to evolve to meet the needs of our patients and support them on their road to recovery,” Dani said.
“Thank you to everyone who has been a part of Aviary’s journey and delivered excellent care to our patients and their loved ones.”
Aviary is the home of the Adolescent team, Rehabilitation team and General Medical and several other small specialists.
