Mental Health Week Art Competition – voting now open!

A collage of different artworks that have been submitted as part of the competition.

We’ve had a great response to this year’s Mental Health Week Art Competition, and the time has come to cast your vote to help select our winners.

Voting is now open and will close at midnight on Sunday 24 September 2023.

To vote for your favourite head to our digital voting form by clicking here.

The voting categories are:

  • Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander
  • Adult Consumers (18+)
  • Child & Youth (0-18)
  • Monash Health Staff (sponsored by Maxxia)

The work that receives the most votes in each category will be purchased by the Mental Health Program for $300 and displayed across our Monash Health sites.

There will also be three Encouragement Awards which will be selected by the Mental Health Complaints Commissioner, the Mental Health Consumer and Family/Carer Advisory Committee, and a Staff Encouragement Award which has been sponsored by Maxxia.

The work that receives the most overall votes will be awarded ‘Artist of the Year’ and receive an extra $100 for having the highest number of total votes across any category.

After the voting closes, the winners will be announced at an Awards Ceremony on the evening of 10 October at the Mulgrave Country Club.

A huge thank you to everybody who has taken the time to create such wonderful works of art and enter them into the competition.
