Baby Felix is the first baby born through Australia’s first public fertility program, marking a significant milestone for the program’s first 12 months.
Parents Erin and Anthony welcomed healthy Felix into the world on 17 October and said they were so grateful to the Monash Health team’s support and care throughout their successful IVF journey.
Felix has made his mark on the world already, with his story being shared by many media outlets, including the Herald Sun, over the weekend.
Andrea Rindt, Deputy Chief Operating Officer for Monash Health’s Women’s & Children’s Program, said it was so special that Monash Health was able to support the conception of the first baby born through the public fertility program.
“The team at Monash Health and Monash Women’s are thrilled for Erin and Anthony, and for the opportunity to assist them conceive Felix, a healthy baby boy,” Ms Rindt said.
