Health literacy is everyone’s responsibility and Monash Health is offering employees an online training opportunity. Health Literacy 101 will benefit anyone who is involved in communicating health messages, whether it’s training frontline workers in communicating effectively with patients, families and carers or building your team’s capacity to create easy read, plain language materials and resources.
The training will be run by Health Literacy specialists ‘enliven’ who have been delivering health literacy services to the community since 2018.
The program is two sessions, each of two hours duration. Your attendance will be required at both sessions.
Session 1: Monday 3 May 2021, 2pm to 4pm
Session 2: Monday 10 May 2021, 2pm to 4pm
As numbers are limited please register your interest on LATTE by Friday 16 April. Once registered and confirmed, a link for the sessions will be sent to you.
For more information on the sessions and presenters, you can download the flyer.
