Influenza vaccines at Sandown for household members: CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE
Influenza vaccination is particularly important this year. With the easing of international and domestic public health measures arising from the COVID-19 global pandemic, a resurgence of influenza is expected in 2022. For those who catch the flu, it can result in serious illness.
To support you, your family and household members stay flu-free, we will now provide free walk-in influenza vaccinations at our Sandown Racecourse Vaccination Centre to the public. People are eligible to receive their free influenza vaccine at Sandown if they are 5 years of age or older and are yet to receive the vaccine this year.
Please be aware that day to day availability of influenza vaccines at Sandown currently varies. To ensure there is an influenza vaccine available before your visit, please check this article which contains the current availability status (top of the page).
Annual influenza vaccination is the best defence against the flu, helping prevent both severe illness and from spreading it to your loved ones.
If you or your household members are also due for a COVID-19 vaccine (any dose), you can receive both the influenza vaccine and COVID-19 vaccine on the same day.
