CE Spotlight – Results from Q2 VHES survey

Monash Health Chief Executive, Andrew Stripp

I am very pleased to advise that your combined efforts have resulted in Monash Health making significant improvement once again across a range of categories in the Q2 Victorian Health Experience Survey (VHES).

The VHES results showed that overall, 91% of our patients reported a positive experience. This 4% increase on the previous quarter brings us closer to our objective of excellence, every time.

Noteworthy highlights came from Cranbourne (98%), Moorabbin (96%), and Dandenong (94%), which is a 10% increase at Dandenong Hospital.

The most substantial increase this quarter was in the perception of cleanliness in hospital rooms and wards, up by 14%, and a testament to your diligence and efforts in improvements in this area.

Three years ago Monash Health’s performance was the lowest in the State. This continued improvement is commendable and has come as a result of your focus on excellence and our planned initiatives to enhance our patients’ stay with us.

I look forward to us all continuing to build on these results and providing excellence to the community we serve.

Andrew Stripp
