Supertee visits Monash Children’s Hospital

Our patients at Monash Children’s Hospital transformed into superheroes last Friday when the Supertee team came in to visit and generously donate over 100 Supertees.

The Supertee is a children’s medical garment designed by tradie Jason Sotiris and his best friend Yusuf Muklis that is X-ray and MRI friendly, providing comfort and building courage for young patients.

Jason created Supertee when his daugher Angela was hospitalised with a rare cancer after her first birthday, and he struggled to change her hospital gown.

The superhero theme was inspired by Jason’s three-year-old son who dressed up as Batman to help his younger sister.

Our patients had the opportunity to meet their favourite superheroes and celebrities from Supanova, bringing big smiles and fun to everyone on the wards.

A big thank you to Supertee for their support and generosity.
