Stop the flu, before it stops you!

It’s that time of the year again – time to get your flu shot.

Influenza is a major cause of illness in the Australian community and in some cases can result in death. The annual influenza vaccination is the most effective way to prevent infection.

To reduce the risk for our vulnerable patients and the risk of illness for our employees and their families, Monash Health is delivering free flu vaccinations across our sites for all employees.

100% completion by all Monash Health employees is mandatory.

It is your responsibility to ensure you are vaccinated or have completed the declaration form by Friday August 2.

Vaccinations are available at Dandenong, Monash Medical Centre, Casey, Moorabbin, Thomas Street, Kingston, Cranbourne and Pakenham at various times over the next few weeks. The schedule is available on the intranet.

You don’t need to book, you can simply turn up with your staff ID.

If employees don’t want to receive the free vaccination here at Monash Health as they are receiving it elsewhere, then they must complete the declaration form to count towards our completion rates.

Let’s work together to prevent infection and achieve 100% completion across our organisation.
