On Friday, 17 May, Monash Health celebrates the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism & Transphobia (IDAHOBIT).
Join us at the Monash Health Translation Precinct (MHTP), Seminar Room 1, from 12pm.
Monash Health is celebrating the day as part of the Equality & Inclusion strategy. Help us create a safe space and prevent phobia against the rainbow community.
Join our special guest, award winning radio broadcaster, Michelle Sheppard, as she discusses her experience transitioning; and be a part of her “no silly question” Q&A, allowing attendees to ask anonymous questions without fear of judgement.
To help celebrate the day, there will be free food, giveaways, a movie screening of “The Coming back out Ball”, “designed to be a gift; that acknowledges the resilience of this community, a gift of visibility to LGBTI+ elders who have lived through it all and a safe space for those elders just discovering themselves”.
