National Simultaneous Storytime at MCH

Yesterday our staff, patients and families came together to enjoy a reading of ‘Alpacas with Maracas’ as part of National Simultaneous Storytime.

Monash Children’s Hospital School Principal Colin Dobson led the reading while our staff and patients joined in and played musical instruments.

Our patients had a fun afternoon making alpaca masks and maracas to play during story time.

NSS is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association to promote reading, and was run in partnership with the Monash Health Library.

Thank you to the Monash Health Library and MCH School for making reading fun for our patients and families!
