The NaMES Graduate Program Expo on May 22 attracted over 600 graduating student Nurses and Midwives interested in joining Monash Health for their graduate program in 2020.
Students were given the opportunity to talk to clinical area educators, learn about specialties available, chat to current graduates and staff about what it’s like to be a graduate and attend a breakout session.
The expo was full of great exhibitors and a special congratulations to the ICU education team for winning the inaugural “Best Exhibit” award, presented by Cheyne Chalmers.
“Of course it would be lovely to be able to let fellow students know how informative and useful it actually was! I was so blown away with all the resources and information and think all students should make the effort to go to the Monash Health expo!”
“I just wanted to take the time on behalf of my fellow Students to thank you and the team at Monash Health for an exceptional information session. At a time of year filled with anticipation and fear today was a wonderful opportunity to see how a graduate year at Monash will unfold.”
“Thank you for the time and effort from the people directing us to the concise and easy to comprehend information and even the fun kahoot game to give us a chance to remember what it felt like to have a laugh.
Today was a wonderful experience from start to finish and the team at Monash made each and every one of us feel so welcome and valued. Thank you for putting on such a great and informative session. I know it has answered so many of my questions and made this next chapter seem so much more attainable now.”
