Flu season is here with 19,000 confirmed cases of influenza notified to the Victorian Health Department, so do not wait to act. Although 79% of Monash Health employees are vaccinated, there is still more we need to do.
It’s important you do your part to protect yourself, your patients, your colleagues, and your family. Also take every possible step to stop the spread of flu this winter:
1. Cough and sneeze into your elbow
2. Wash your hands regularly
3. If you’re sick, stay home!
Vaccinations are available at Dandenong, Casey, Cranbourne, Kingston, Monash Medical Centre, Moorabbin, Pakenham, and Thomas Street. The schedule is available on the intranet.
