Adjunct Professor Tanya Farrell tours Women’s and Newborn services

We were delighted to welcome Adjunct Professor Tanya Farrell, Chair of the independent Consultative Council on Obstetric and Paediatric Mortality and Morbidity (CCOPMM) and Senior Maternity Adviser to support Victoria’s Chief Clinical Officers at Safer Care Victoria, to tour Monash Health’s Women’s and Newborn services across Casey Hospital, Dandenong Hospital, Monash Medical Centre and Monash Children’s Hospital.

Accompanied by Andrea Rindt, General Manager of Monash Women’s and Newborn, Adjunct Professor Farrell visited our birth suites, maternity wards, special care nurseries, fetal monitoring unit and neonatal intensive care unit to get an insight into the scale, scope and current initiatives of our Monash Women’s and Newborn services.
