Princesses, dwarfs, fairies, witches, animals and superheroes came from far and wide yesterday to celebrate Book Week at Monash Children’s Hospital!
They were joined by our staff, patients, families and children from Kanooka Child Care Centre for a fun day of reading, music, face painting and balloon making.
Everyone dressed up as their favourite book characters and showed off their amazing costumes at our annual Book Week parade.
Grumpy and Dopey read ‘The Snail and the Whale’ by Julia Donaldson, followed by an incredible performance of Matilda by the talented students at Casey Grammar.
Thank you to our incredible team at the Monash Children’s Hospital School for making this a magical day for our staff, patients and their families.
