Monash Care Intranet Page
Provides our health and wellbeing commitment to you and aims to link all health and wellbeing initiative and resources within the organisation from one intranet page.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The service is available for employees, their immediate family members and volunteers. It not only provides you with proactive support and advice but is also there for when times are tough. The service includes Employee, Family, Conflict, Career, Manager, Money, Legal, Nutrition and Lifestyle support as well as five specialised helplines. The EAP comprises short term coaching and counselling to support and assists you with resolving personal and/or work-based issues that may be affecting your health and wellbeing. The service can be accessed in a number of ways including face to face or over the phone.
For your added support information including over 120 health and wellbeing tip sheets and various webinars can be accessed via the EAP Portal maintained by our Provider, Converge International.

There is also an App you can search for called “EAP Connect” allowing you to have the details of the service at your fingertips.

Online Mental Health and Wellbeing modules.
Modules have been developed to help support you to learn more around mental health, how to support or recognise when someone is struggling and provides you with some self-care strategies. There is also program specifically for managers to support their team. These programs have been developed in conjunction with the Black Dog Institute and can be found on the LATTE learning management system.
There are a number of employees who have been trained as Peer Supporters after volunteering to provide an empathic ear to peers who may be struggling with personal, training, work, health or other life problems. A list of the Peers can be found on the Peer Support intranet page.
