On Tuesday 12 November Monash Health Executives, Board Members and Managers came together at the Southern Golf Club to celebrate and thank our employees and volunteers at the annual Length of Service Awards. Employees completing 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45 years of service were acknowledged, as well as our volunteers completing 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of service.
The longest-serving award of the night was presented to Rosemary Thorpe, who has reached 45 years of service at Monash Health.
“As Rosemary heads into retirement next month, her knowledge, commitment and work will be dearly missed by the Monash Newborn team” said Chief Executive Andrew Stripp.
Andrew Stripp acknowledged the contribution all our recipients make to how a patient feels when they are in our care, and what they remember about their time with us.
“This is demonstrated in countless ways, such as creating a clean environment, making or delivering meals, organising appointments, smiling in the corridor, helping someone find their way, making them a cup of tea, or of course, providing world-class healthcare.”
Congratulations to all our recipients. Please stay tuned over the coming days as biographies on our 40 and 45 year recipients will be published, along with a link to all the photos taken on the day.The gallery was not found!
