Congratulations to Ron Tudball on 40 years of service

Ron commenced his career in 1978 in the Biochemistry department of Monash University working on the production and use of an Insulin Assay.

In 1979 he was employed as a Medical Scientist by Queen Victoria Hospital to set up the Endocrine Laboratory. He then came to Monash Medical Centre and since then Ron has been a major member of our Biochemistry services.

In 1994 Ron was appointed to a Grade 2 scientist position and in 1997 received a further upgrade to be a Grade 3 scientist.

Ron has held acting roles of Grade 4 scientist and Principal scientist within our service before being appointed to the role of Principals Scientist in Biochemistry in 2017.

Ron has been a leading contributor to the development of the laboratories Mass Spectrometry testing program and has played a major role in the IT areas of the pathology service.
