For those who can’t be in the room, Monday’s ‘You CAN ask that’ event, to explore issues of family violence, will be available for viewing on Blue Jeans.
Hear directly from survivor advocate, Geraldine Bilston (pictured) – who features in the ABC-TV program – about her experiences with family violence and what role health practitioners played in her eventual decision to leave her relationship.
The event is open to all staff and will feature a panel discussion, followed by a free afternoon tea for those able to attend Lecture Theatre 1 at Monash Medical Centre at 1.15pm – details here.
