Last week, Monash Health hosted the National Allied Health Assistant Professional Development Forum for the third consecutive year.
The forum is an opportunity to support allied health professionals to develop skills directly related to their practise as well as an opportunity to network with various representatives from all states and territories.
Numerous poster presentations offered a variety of expertise and key note speakers on the day including George Habib, Monash Health Deputy Director of Psychology, Melanie Farlie, Monash Health Lecturer, Donna Markham, Victoria’s Chief Allied Health Officer and Sharon Downie, Allied Health Workforce Manager for Department of Health and Human Services.
The topics discussed included methods of task delegation, maintain mental health and the well-being of those working in the allied health assistance field.
