Margaret recently retired after 40 years of dedicated service to Monash Health.
After initially spending time on the wards and in ICU at Dandenong Hospital, Margaret spent the majority of her last 40 years with us in the Operating Suite, specialising in anaesthetics and recovery room nursing.
Margaret is a quiet achiever, who brought many years of knowledge and experience to her team. Her recollection of how things were done over the years provided invaluable insight.
Known as one of the hardest workers in the department, Margaret was always one of the first to volunteer to take on work tasks or offer assistance to her colleagues. Others have often commented on how they admire Margaret’s endurance, and how they hope to achieve what Margaret has achieved in her career.
Margaret is a positive role model who always tried to demonstrate the values of Monash Health in all areas of her practice.
Aside from her professional achievements, Margaret has made many friends over the years, and will be dearly missed by her team as she embarks on an exciting new chapter in her life.
