Employees invited to speak at Summer Foundation Forum

Marylou Devlin, Senior Social Worker and Deanne Davis, Senior Occupational Therapist both from the Allied Health and Patient Flow Program were invited to speak at the Annual Summer Foundation forum on 31 October 2019. This invitation is reflective of their clinical expertise and knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme and the interface with the health system and relationships they have built with the disability sector.

The forum was then followed by a “Breaking through the Barriers” seminar for people with disability, their families and those who work in the disability area.  Click here to watch Marylou and Deanne speaking.

Marylou and Deanne along with Whitney Lipman and Jaye Toulson, all from the Allied Health and Patient Flow Program were all winners of a quarterly award in 2019 for Exceptional Teamwork.  The Allied Health and Patient Flow Program have been instrumental in leading the rollout of NDIS across the acute and sub-acute program at Monash Health and will continue to have this as a major focus in 2020.
