Aboriginal Health Service and Starlight Room join forces for Back to School Day

Monash Health’s Aboriginal Health Service and Starlight Room have joined forces to support Back to School Day for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students heading back to school. Monash Health held activities such as bracelet making, supplying stationery, healthy snacks and ‘Guess the Melon’s weight’, whilst the Starlight Room captains kept the kids entertained with music, balloon making and giveaways.

Over fifty children attended the day at Doveton Football Club as well as parents and community members. It was a great opportunity to get Aboriginal families familiar with the services Monash Health provides. A big thank you to Starlight Room who came and supported this event.
