Monash Health employees may be eligible for free emergency accommodation if they are required to self-quarantine or self-isolate and can’t do so safely in their current accommodation.
The Victorian Government’s COVID-19 Healthcare Emergency Accommodation (CHEA) program has been developed so that critical members of the Victorian healthcare workforce, who are at the front line of the State’s coronavirus response, will be able to access emergency accommodation support in certain circumstances.
The program responds to concerns from healthcare workers about their ability to safely self-quarantine or self-isolate and protect at-risk members of their household from exposure to COVID-19. It is supported by priority access to funded emergency accommodation that is safe, secure and hygienic.
