Temporary changes to hand sanitiser in non-clinical areas

There is a significant worldwide demand for hand sanitiser during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Monash Health is currently facing supply shortages of the foam hand sanitiser branded Cutan or Deb that is used in non-clinical areas.

As an immediate temporary arrangement, trolleys with an alternative hand sanitiser will be placed near the existing dispensers, where this can be done safely.

The dispenser for the new hand sanitiser is a different size. So, from tomorrow, we will be progressively installing new brackets across the health service, but will be prioritising:

  • Receptions
  • Outside cafes
  • Near lift-wells
  • At touch on touch off locations

Don’t forget that one of the best ways you can protect yourself from Coronavirus is by washing your hands regularly with soap and water.
