Keep an eye and ear out for advertising for the Monash Health community fundraising appeal to support research about new treatments for people with COVID-19.
The appeal is running over the next couple of weeks and starts with a letterbox drop to more than 330,000 households across south–east Melbourne. Targeted direct mail letters and emails to select audiences will follow the household letters.
The advertisements include a TV ad showing on Nine’s channels, including Nine, Go and Gem. There is also online advertising, radio advertisements and live reads during 3AW’s ‘Breakfast with Ross and John’ program.
Ron Fairchild, Director of the Monash Health Foundation, said the advertisements will complement the appeal letters.
“The ads profile the different employees who have been part of the COVID-19 response at Monash Health,” Ron said.
“We know that the next stage in the fight against the virus is to find new treatments, and that’s why this community fundraising is so important.”
Employees from across Monash Health are featured in the appeal communications, including social worker Charley Bautista (pictured).
“Thank you to the health professionals and support employees who took part in the still photography and video for the appeal promotions. We sincerely appreciate their time and involvement.”
