Mental Health Week art competition is back 

This year we celebrate Mental Health Week between 5 and 11 October and the much-loved annual art competition is back after a year’s hiatus. 

The competition is open to all past and present consumers, families, carers and Mental Health Program employees and we invite you to submit up to two pieces of art for this year’s competition

The voting categories are:

• Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander
• Adult
• Aged
• Carer
• Child
• Culturally Diverse
• Drug and Alcohol Services
• Dual Disability
• LGBTI+
• Staff
• Youth

The work that receives the most votes in each category will be bought by the Mental Health Program for $300, and displayed across Monash Health

There will be two encouragement awards, for art selected by the Mental Health Complaints Commissioner and the Mental Health Program and purchased for $300 each

A viewer’s choice award will be presented for the piece of art with the most votes in total, which will receive an additional $300.
