In line with the Premier’s recent announcement, our visitor restrictions have been updated. These changes come into effect on Tuesday 29 September and work to ensure the safety of employees, patients and visitors.
Visiting hours are between 1-3pm and 5-7pm daily. An adult patient can be visited by only one person for a maximum of two hours per day during visiting hours, except in specific circumstances.
Specific restrictions apply to the following areas:
- Emergency departments
- Children’s and Newborn
- Mental Health (including residential, aged and community)
- Residential Aged Care
- Terminal Care or Life-threatening situations
- Unstable or deteriorating situations
- Palliative care
Please visit the Monash Health website for a full list of restrictions and permitted time periods. Visitors are advised that they will be screened upon entry to Monash Health sites and will be required to wear a surgical mask, and in some circumstances, additional PPE.
