Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer Katrina Nankervis has announced the new date for the 15th Annual Nursing and Midwifery Awards and Scholarships (NAMAS) – Friday 27 November.
2020 is International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife, and while a global pandemic has curbed celebrating as planned, the year cannot go by without celebrating the hard work and amazing contributions of our nurses and midwives.
Speaking at the Nursing and Midwifery forum on Friday, Katrina said:
“I am very proud of the work you have all done this year in the face of many challenges and I thank each and every one of you. While we are unable to be all together this year we look forward to a different NAMAS celebration and the opportunity to acknowledge the achievements of our nurses and midwives.”
Congratulations to all our 2020 nominees across the 6 award categories. Save the date for the rescheduled virtual NAMAS event to be held on Friday 27 November at 1:30pm via Webex.
