Val’s Ageing and Aged Care is providing a monthly LGBTI Ageing and Aged Care training session for employees working in the Commonwealth Home Support Programme sector or supporting older people in the community. These sessions aim to create and maintain awareness of the experiences and needs of older LGBTI people and to introduce LGBTI-safe and inclusive care to employees and service providers.
The session is free and runs for 3 hours with 15 minutes of break time throughout the session. Sessions are running on the following dates:
