The Emergency Allergy Clinic for Monash Health employees will be shut on 15, 22 and 29 December, and 5 January. The Clinic will re-open on 12 January.
While the clinic was established by the Allergy and Dermatology departments to deal primarily with employees’ reactions to wearing face masks, we are also seeing staff who’ve had reactions to gloves, hand hygiene products as well as exacerbations of asthma and hay fever whilst at work.
From the end of January, we will be running a combination of drop–in and booked clinic appointments. The booked clinic will be for non-urgent issues and the wait time will be under two months to be seen. Please provide a referral, with this noting that you are a Monash Health employee.
For urgent conditions, the drop-in option will still be available.
