Congratulations to our 2020 NAMAS winners

Third time lucky was the story for his year’s NAMAS, as our nurses and midwives finally celebrated the 15th Annual Nursing and Midwifery Awards and Scholarships on Friday 18 December.

Celebrating the International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife, Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer, Katrina Nankervis, announced Karen Sawyer as the 2020 Monash Health Midwife of the Year

Board Chair Dipak Sanghvi and Chief executive Andrew Stripp opened the awards thanking our nurses and midwives for their hard work and dedication throughout this remarkable year.

“Without you all we would be truly lost. Thank you for your efforts, thank you for choosing to work at Monash Health and thank you for all that you do” said Chief Executive, Andrew Stripp.

The event provided an opportunity to celebrate the work of Monash Health nurses and midwives and recognise the significant achievements of individuals and teams

Congratulations to all the nominees and award recipients.

Karen Sawyer was a popular choice for Midwife of the year.
