Changes to restrictions in Victoria: Gathering limits, masks and NSW travel
From 5pm tonight, the following restrictions will be in place in Victoria:
- The limit of people gathering in the home will be reduced to 15 from 30.
- Masks will be mandatory indoors.
From 5pm tonight (31 December), masks are mandatory for ALL Monash Health employees working onsite regardless of role.
Please refer to the Personal Protective Equipment Compulsory standards to determine the type of mask you should be wearing in different scenarios.
You must wear a mask while at work, unless eating a meal or alone in a room by yourself with the door closed.
If you have concerns about wearing a mask, please speak to your manager.

Travel to New South Wales
Travel to and from New South Wales should be reconsidered. If you are visiting regional New South Wales, you should consider returning home. Restrictions may be imposed at short notice. If you have any symptoms, you must get tested and quarantine.
All managers are requested to share these updates with their teams and discuss at stand-ups and handovers. Please print a copy and display it in communication books and on employee noticeboards.
