Masks are mandatory across all Monash Health sites, regardless of your role. To help with any discomfort you may feel while wearing your mask, you can visit the Monash Health Employee Allergy/Dermatology Clinic.
The drop-in telehealth clinic was developed by the Allergy and Dermatology departments to give guidance and support to employees on mask comfort and other occupational exposure symptoms (including hand hygiene, personal protective equipment, cleaning equipment etc).
While you do not need a referral to access this service for urgent conditions, you do need a UR number. To obtain a UR number, fill out the registration form and email it through to SMR support before your clinic presentation.
For non-urgent conditions, to enable the sustainability of the service, please obtain a referral and send it through to Outpatients. The referral needs to note you are a Monash Health employee. The wait times to be seen in this process is under 6 weeks.
The team are happy to assist with other non-direct occupational allergic and dermatological concerns such as hay fever. However, priority will be given to those with direct occupational conditions.
The clinic operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 1pm to 4pm. Tuesday 24 February will be the last Tuesday the clinic will be open. It will continue to operate on Thursdays.
