Monash Health has recently upgraded printers across all sites at Monash Health with a new fleet of printers and MFDs (multifunction devices) equipped with FollowMe print capability. Employees can now enjoy quieter, quicker and more secure printing, and can access printed output on any large MFD across all campuses by tapping their employee card at the printers.
We are now upgrading card readers which will allow reading of different card bases within Monash Health. This will alleviate an issue with card number duplications that has impacted some users when scanning or printing. This does not impact your employee card in any way.
All users will receive an autogenerated email from the firstname.lastname@example.org with details of your 6 digit PIN. To access printers with card readers, you will need to enter your 6 digit PIN instead of tapping your card. This process will continue for approximately 6 to 8 weeks until all the card readers have been updated. Please do not share your PIN with anyone.
If you forget your PIN, you can refer to the email you receive or you can retrieve your PIN using a link which will be provided. You can also contact the IT Help Desk.
